Healing blend of herbs containing comfrey leaf, plantain leaf, raspberry leaf, yarrow flowers, lavender buds, shepherd's purse, uva ursi leaf
HOW TO USE
1 Place one herbal sitz bath tea bag in a quart of boiling water.
2 Remove from heat, cover and allow to steep for 15-20 minutes.
3 Remove tea bag, squeeze excess water into pot and discard bag.
4 Pour herb water into a sitz tub or shallow bath. Avoid over-diluting.
5 Soak for 20-30 minutes, 1-3 times daily after childbirth.
For optimal results, take 3-5 herbal sitz baths during your first week postpartum, or as soon after birth as possible. Soak for at least 20 minutes to allow time for the herbal benefits to absorb into your skin and alleviate tender areas.
Tip: You may also steep the herbs, and then add the infusion to your petri bottle for additional soothing.
Please Note: Immersive baths are not recommended immediately after a Cesarean birth, but can be enjoyed once fully healed.
